My Teething Tea Remedy is seriously Tha Bomb when it comes to helping babies cope with the pain of teething!!
It’s a mix of easy to find medicinal herbs that are brewed and then used in a variety of ways.
I mix the following herbs in a big jar, and then brew as needed.
1 part passionflower
1 part chamomile
1 part elder berry
1 part elder flower
1 part Gotu kola
1/2 part lemon balm
1/2 part lavender flowers
1/2 part echinacea flowers
1/4 part clove buds
Add 1 tsp per cup of water and brew for 5-10 minutes before straining.
Wondering how to use it??
Well, you can give it to bub warm or cold as a straight tea in a bottle, in a sippy cup or in a little medicine cup.
You can soak a cloth in it and give the cloth to baby to suck on.
You can pour this brew into the bubba’s bath water.
You can use the tea as a base in smoothies and drink it that way (obviously this is for babies on solids!).
Our fave way to have it is to then freeze the tea smoothie mix into ice blocks. The coldness is so soothing on the sore and tender gums, that your baby/toddler will be asking for more (Mine does, she stands at the fridge and says “block, block!”)
The herbs I have chosen for this tea blend are there for immunity, pain relief, calming properties, and healing properties.
It’s my first line remedy for teething, and for us, it’s been such a massive help, I hope it helps you too!!
